VAESP/NAESP Joint Membership Categories

PLEASE REVIEW ALL CATEGORIES CAREFULLY

Active

Open to those who support the objectives of the Association and are employed in professional work related to the elementary and middle school principalship or assistant principalship. Members in this category are entitled to vote.

Institutional Active

Available to all educational institutions. It includes one complete Active membership for an individual and a duplicate set of member publications sent to the institution. Members in this category are entitled to vote.

Emeritus

Available to all retired Active members. It includes all VAESP/NAESP programs and services, plus AARP membership. Members in this category are entitled to vote.

Retired

Available to all retired Active members or current Emeritus members. Members in this category are not entitled to vote.

Associate

Available to a professor of education or educational administration; a non-administrator who is interested in elementary or middle school education or administration. Members in this category are not entitled to vote.

Aspiring

Available to teachers and other educators not eligible for Active membership but who are interested in employment in professional work related to the elementary and middle school principalship or assistant principalship. Members in this category are not entitled to vote.

PRIOR TO CALLING OR FAXING IN YOUR CARD NUMBER.

If using a Purchase Order, please enter the number, then fax the PO to VAESP at 804-355-1196:

1. Payroll deduction is available in some school districts. Check with your school district as to whether you must submit a Payroll Deduction Authorization Form to your payroll office.
2. If school district pays part of dues, please send a check for the balance. If Purchase Order is required, please fax or mail to VAESP.
3. Monthly payment schedule allows ten (10) payments during the school year. Mail your first payment to VAESP at 1805 Chantilly Street, Richmond, VA 23230. A monthly payment schedule will be sent for remaining payments.

Comments

VAESP must receive a completed form in order to process your membership.

Upon joining, you are obligated to support VAESP and are obligated to pay the

membership dues in full before June 30th of that membership year.

By selecting "Submit Enrollment Form,"

you authorize VAESP to collect the appropriate membership dues from you.
